I'm writing to you today with a message that comes straight from the heart. Last 6 years have been a battle with kidney disease, and I'm still searching for a lifesaving kidney transplant. But even amidst the struggles, I'm grateful to be alive and to have the chance to make a difference in the lives of others. That's why I'm hosting an event that will celebrate the launch of my new book, and raise funds for the Toronto General Hospital's Home Hemodialysis unit that saved my life.

I'll never forget the moment when my dialysis chair tipped backwards, my lifeline became unhooked, and blood spewed everywhere. The terror of that experience still haunts me, and I don't want anyone else to go through it. That's why I'm determined to raise funds for new, safer dialysis chairs that can ensure patients are safe and secure during their treatments.

This event is not just about fundraising - it's about coming together to celebrate life, love, and hope. I want to share this special moment with you, my beloved friends, and to thank you for standing by my side through thick and thin. 

To make this celebration even more unforgettable, you'll be treated to a mesmerizing evening of entertainment, featuring a diverse range of performances that will keep you on the edge of your seat. From the sultry and rhythmic solo Salsa dancing to the intricate footwork and colorful costumes of Zamba, and the heart-pumping energy of singing sensation JOEE, to the infectious and celebratory traditional Greek Zorba dance. And to cap it all off, get ready to let loose and dance the night away with the electrifying beats of Freestyle 80's, brought to you by the incredible DJ Spin. AND WHO KNOWS,  THE NIGHT MIGHT JUST GET MORE EXCITING WITH SOME SURPRISE CELEBRITY GUESTS IN ATTENDANCE, hosted by the one and only Bruce Turner, MC of the show “Style by Jury”. Delicious food will also be served, and you'll even get a gift bag filled with goodies that will make your heart sing.
